Across W1D, W1F and the rest of the West End, most evenings there is a knock at your door less than an hour after the host confirms. Friday and Saturday lists fill quickly once the theatres let out, so an afternoon message keeps your first choice at the door.

Outcall is all we do: hotels, serviced apartments and private residences, from boutique rooms such as Dean Street Townhouse to larger houses like The Langham, and flats from Fitzrovia down to Charing Cross. Share any arrival notes when you book.

The list opens at £250 for an hour. Ninety minutes costs £400, two hours £500, three hours £700; the four hour dinner date comes to £900 and ten hours overnight to £1,800. Because it keeps faith on both sides, the way a good restaurant holds a corner table for a name it trusts. For a hotel or residence evening the door asks 25 percent ahead of time, by bank transfer. Overnight stays, events and trips away take 50 percent, and whatever covers the travel stays non-refundable. The remainder is paid when she arrives, in cash or as a transfer carrying only a discreet reference.

The host checks them once, over WhatsApp, so both sides know the booking is real. After that they stay with the door: never passed on, never used for marketing, and the booking chat is held only as long as the evening requires. Our privacy notice has the detail.

Before any lady joins the list she sits down with us in person. Her ID is examined, her age above 18 confirmed, and her portraits set beside the woman herself, then refreshed whenever she changes. The photo policy explains exactly how.

Of course, that is how many Soho evenings begin. Book the dinner date for a pre-theatre table near Shaftesbury Avenue, the late jazz at Ronnie Scott's or supper at Quo Vadis on Dean Street, and she will dress for the room.

Cancel with three hours notice or more and there is nothing to pay. Inside two hours, 50 percent of the booking applies, and a no-show is charged in full. If you are running late we hold the arrival for 15 minutes, and after that we simply rebook for a time that suits you both.
